CX Kick off

The 2018CX season kicked off this past weekend in Gilbert, AZ. The short and fast course saw Cara O'Neill (UA) win the women's A race and Cameron Beard (UA) win the men's A. Cecile Lejeune (ASU) and Jacob Lippert (NAU) won the B races respectively. The afternoon saw 6 teams (5 collegiate) take on the relay. Reigning national champions, University of Arizona, showed why they are the champs winning by 30 seconds over 2nd place Roca Roja (non collegiate) and over a minute over 3rd place ASU.

 

MTB Season wraps up- next is CX!

NAU took home another hard fought team omnium against a revitalized UA squad. Regionals proved to be tough competition against the RMCCC squads, but excellent prep for nationals in Missoula, MT.

Up next: Cyclocross!
A bit of a smaller calendar compared to previous years with only 4 races:
