MTB Updates and Spring 2023

First, big congrats to NAU for successfully hosting the first DS, DH, XC, and STXC event in Arizona! We're excited to see the race grow in future years. Once we have results, we'll calculate the standings.

With MTB nats right around the corner, I wanted to remind everyone about eligibility for nats. Since we have a short MTB season, riders need to have raced one of the weekends as an A. Ideally, everyone has two starts, but we can work with 1 start if they have other race results from the summer/fall at a cat 1/pro/expert.

You can bring a total of 12 men and 12 women. 8 may start the XC and 6 in the STXC, DH, and DS:

Riders must be full-time (as defined by their program) and in good standing with the school. If you have a rider in their final semester who is not full-time, they are eligible to compete, provided they bring additional documentation. Let me know if you need that specific form.

Please let me know who your teams plan to bring and for which events. I'll forward that to USAC.

Finally, we have a prelim schedules for the road season posted.
